Owing to the growing interest in learning from the NBP’s experience with various aspects of central banking expressed by several central banks from the transition countries as well as numerous requests to pay study visits to the NBP, the Technical Cooperation for Transition Initiative (TCT) was established in 2005.
This initiative has created an opportunity for the participants to exchange their professional knowledge and expand skills they already posses.
Beneficiaries of TCT central banks from selected countries in transition
• Commonwealth of Independent States,
• Balkan Region (excluding new EU members),
• selected Asian countries (PR China, Vietnam, Mongolia),
• other selected countries (Tunisia, Egypt).
Forms of TCT Initiative
• seminars (2-3 days) for 20-40 experts from various central banks,
• workshops (2-3 days) for 10-15 experts from various central banks,
• study visits (2-5 days) for group of experts from one central bank,
• internship (1-3 months),
• experts visits for NBP’s employees in the cooperative countries.
